About Inspiring Enterprise

Project Description

The project aims to Inspire, Educate and Connect young people around enterprise and being enterprising. It provides a range of enterprise focussed content and activities to support school students, youth groups and young people who may be interested in working for themselves. This includes: –

  • Video content
  • Podcasts
  • An annual Inspiring Enterprise event for schools (part of the Oldham Festival for Business)
  • Talks by young Oldham entrepreneurs
  • Links to support programmes and services
  • Test trading Grants

    Partners

    Inspiring Enterprise is a partnership project (funded by the Oldham Opportunity Area) between Oldham Enterprise Trust, the Youth Enterprise Network Oldham (YENO) and the Rio Ferdinand Foundation. The Partnership exists to Inspire Enterprise amongst Oldham’s young people. Other partners involved include Oldham College and Young Enterprise.
