Engaging the public

Engagement with potential Oldham residents is done through a mix of social media marketing and referrals from organisations ranging from those:

a. Working with young people such as the Oldham College, Oldham Sixth Form College, University Campus Oldham, Mahdlo and the Princes Trust.
b. Those supporting people into employment and self-employment such as Get Oldham Working and local housing associations.

 Business Support

This is provided by The Kings’s Trust, the Business Growth Hub, Oldham Library’s Build a Business programme, GC Business Finance and The Oldham College. This provides a wraparound service of support which covers all ages and both pre and post business launch support.

Resourcing Management

Resourcing the management and administration of the project is supported by Oldham Council.
